This project featured R 24 building envelope, Hardiplank siding, factory-finished FSC certified Virginia Red Oak flooring, light colored roof shingles, 2x6 studs - 24" on center, R 38 ceiling insulation, Greenguard Certified; truss roof frame from peoples Supply, Dupont Roof wrap air barrier, Typar house wrap, Energy Star windows, cellulose insulation, low VOC caulks and sealants, crawl space insulation, existing tear out building materials salvaged as much as possible and other features. |
