SolarSheat 1500G is a black aluminum flat plate solar hot air collector. Sunshine provides radiant energy, which is absorbed by the collector. A photovoltaic DC fan, or optional AC inline fan, blows sun heated air into the living area of the house, providing the homeowner with renewable solar heating. A wall mounted thermostat allows the homeowner to set the heat to the desired level, and turn on or off the system.
Two or more panels can be joined together (up to 10 panels max). A back draft damper prevents reverse cold air flow at night or cloudy days. Tempered glazing and industrial sealants help keep the panel intact. The rear panel is insulated and the duct run is sealed and insulated. SolarSheat can be wall-or roof-mounted.
